'Tis The Season...

No, it’s not Christmas yet. I am speaking specifically to my investors. This is a great time of year to buy or sell an investment property. The supply is VERY low and the demand is high. If you have an investment under $100K it is a great time of year to sell. You will get top dollar for your property while the supply of investments is low and the demand for lower income housing is high. It is also a great time of year to buy or sell rental property. Rental prices are soring at this point in the year due to the failure of several big sub-prime lenders and the inability of those buyers to qualify for a loan. The sub-prime market crash has had a huge impact on the rental market. Rental prices are up and the demand is high while the supply is relatively low. The bottom line is that investors are still investing, renters are still renting, and the lower end market is strong when there is inventory.
